In the beginning of the video a man is studying a sample through a microscope. He could be working for the cure to a disease or studying evidence to solve a criminal case. ScientistS like the man at the beginning may work for the government or a private institution. These scientist set up and operate laboratory equipment which sometimes means robots, computer systems, and other electronics. Theses scientists, specifically biologists, use live organisms and organic matter for their studies and experiments. A lot of times these biologists work in teams on projects that require a lot of mathematical skills. Their goal is to work in hope of a scientific breakthrough that will improve lives of people everywhere.

Video of a Day in the Life of a Nurse
As of right now I am uncertain about what type of nurse to be since there are several fields and several different types of nurses. This video is about nurses working in the ICU, which stands for intensive care unit. The ICU is also known as the critical care unit and it provides intensive treatment. The nurses in the video go around talking to patients and make sure that they’re comfortable. Their days are busy and they’re always on their feet. One nurse moved a baby to lay down on the bed, but they had to be careful as to not hurt the baby and not pull at the tubes that were all around and inside the baby. |

Video Breakdown of Graphic Designer at Work
In this video my mother is tackling an order from a company with the request to have a wall of text with greetings in many different languages in their lobby. She read the email and set a canvas size to the dimensions stated and began with typing out a list of words they had sent her to work with. Once all of the words had been typed, she randomly selected words from the list, dragged them to one side and set a specific font to them. She did this until every word had a place and a font assigned to it then dragged words individually into the canvas and arranged them in a fairly random and visually pleasing manner. |

Career in Social Work
The women starts by greeting her client and telling her everything they speak of stays between them, and then client signs a paper agreeing. The social worker then asks her client “What brought you in here today?” She asks about the client's family background history to understand what's going on a little better. She's repeating what her client says back, asking questions about what she says. It shows the client that she’s listening to her. The social worker is asking about violence if there is any; she mentions counseling if needed and gives advice to her client about her situation. During all of this, the social worker is writing notes down and at the end she said she was going to type it all out, then in their next session they’re going to go over it, print copies out, make goals and talk about it all. |

Civil Engineering Video
In this video, civil engineers and workers are building a windmill. For my career I don’t necessarily want to be the one who builds the projects, but the person who designs and supervises the projects. In the beginning of the video, the workers are building a frame for the base. After the frame is constructed, they use concrete to fill in the frame and make the base stable. After the concrete is filled in, they disassemble the outside framework and let the concrete set and dry. Then, they refill around the base with dirt to hide it in the ground, more for cosmetic reasons. Lastly, they bring in two large cranes that put the pieces of the windmill together one by one. The video finally finishes with the workers putting the blades on the windmill and a landscape view of the finished product. |
